    What is this course about?

Uncover the unseen dangers lurking in laboratories with our comprehensive online course on Physical Hazards. Delve into the realm of electrical, mechanical, noise, temperature, vibration, ergonomics, and slips, trips, and falls—the often overlooked yet critical hazards that pose real risks in lab environments.

Led by esteemed instructor Jonathan Klane, this course equips you with the knowledge and strategies to identify, mitigate, and prevent these invisible threats effectively.

What are the benefits of this course?

    • Awareness and Recognition: Understand why physical hazards are frequently underestimated and overlooked, despite their potential for severe consequences.
    • Comprehensive Understanding: Explore six distinct types of physical hazards—electrical, mechanical, noise, temperature, vibration, and ergonomic risks—excluding the commonly recognized laboratory hazards.
    • Effective Control Measures: Master the principles of the hierarchy of hazard controls to implement effective strategies for mitigating physical hazards in various settings.
    • Prevention Strategies: Learn proactive measures to prevent incidents and injuries associated with the often-neglected hazards present in laboratory environments.
